The pump was imported from the United States in 1999 and installed in the luning pipeline, with a discharge capacity of 1,900 cubic meters per hour, three times that of the domestic pump. The pump's operation occupies a dominant position in the luning pipeline. The pump stopped operation due to the high temperature of the end tile, so the oil cannot be sealed, which seriously affects the crude oil supply of the long pipeline. Zoucheng maintenance team immediately began to repair. After the routine maintenance of the pump is still unable to solve the problem, the maintenance team in the case of no precedent for reference to the pump for overhaul. After the pump body opened, the inspection found that the pump impeller waist tile suction inlet with a long about 60 mm tubular metal. Through analysis, the reason for the high temperature of the end tile is that the tubular metal makes the balance of the impeller destroyed, resulting in the axial force is too large, causing the end tile temperature rise. After a series of repairs, the pump was reloaded.

The successful overhaul of the bingham pump without the guidance of any foreign experts is the first of its kind in the pipeline company and provides experience for future such repairs.
